  • Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs): Painkillers such as ibuprofen or naproxen can reduce the blood-pressure-lowering effects of Prosky AM 2.5 Tablet 15's and may increase strain on your kidneys.
  • Certain antibiotics or antifungals: Medicines like erythromycin or ketoconazole can increase the levels of amlodipine in your blood, raising the risk of side effects.

 

Drug-Food Interactions

Certain foods and beverages may affect how Prosky AM 2.5 Tablet 15's works or increase the risk of side effects:

  • Grapefruit and grapefruit juice: Avoid consuming grapefruit while taking this medicine. Grapefruit can block the breakdown of amlodipine in your body, leading to abnormally high drug levels and severe side effects.
