Rebez IV Injection belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. It is used in the treatment of Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal/gastric ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It contains rabeprazole, which help decrease the amount of acid in the stomach. Some of the common side effects include headache, diarrhoea, constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence, vomiting, nausea, etc.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Rebez IV Injection may have interaction with an anti-retroviral agent (atazanavir), anti-fungal (ketoconazole, itraconazole), anti-rheumatic (methotrexate).

Drug-Food Interactions: Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, liver disease, bone fractures, and hypomagnesemia (low levels of magnesium).
