रेसोचिन टैबलेट में क्लोरोक्वीन होता है। रेसोचिन टैबलेट लाल रक्त कोशिकाओं के अंदर मलेरिया परजीवियों को लक्षित करता है और हीमोग्लोबिन को तोड़ने की उनकी प्रक्रिया को बाधित करता है। इससे विषाक्त पदार्थों का संचय होता है, जो परजीवियों को नष्ट कर देते हैं और संक्रमण को साफ करते हैं।
रेसोचिन टैबलेट एंटीबायोटिक दवाओं के साथ तभी ली जा सकती है जब डॉक्टर द्वारा निर्धारित की गई हो। यदि आप एम्पीसिलीन ले रहे हैं, तो सुनिश्चित करें कि आप इसे रेसोचिन टैबलेट लेने से कम से कम 2 घंटे पहले या 2 घंटे बाद लें।

रेसोक्विन टैबलेट के सामान्य दुष्प्रभाव उल्टी, मतली, बालों का झड़ना, पेट दर्द, पेट खराब होना, भूख न लगना, दस्त और खुजली वाली त्वचा हैं। इनमें से अधिकांश दुष्प्रभाव अस्थायी होते हैं और समय के साथ धीरे-धीरे ठीक हो जाते हैं। हालाँकि, यदि इनमें से कोई भी लक्षण बना रहता है या बिगड़ जाता है तो कृपया डॉक्टर से सलाह लें।
