Sinex Plus Tablet is used to treat the common cold and allergic symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes or itchy/watery nose and throat, as well as to relieve cough associated with cold and flu. It works by blocking the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions, thereby relieving allergy symptoms and constricting nasal blood vessels to reduce congestion. Additionally, it suppresses cough by reducing activity in the brain’s cough centre, providing relief. Some people may experience drowsiness, nausea, fatigue, dizziness, nervousness, dryness in the mouth, headache, stomach pain, and vomiting. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
