Your doctor may need to monitor drug levels or adjust doses.
  • Hormonal contraceptives: TZETOL SR 300MG TABLET may reduce the effectiveness of hormonal birth control methods, including oral contraceptive pills, patches, implants, and some vaginal rings. This may increase the risk of unintended pregnancy, and additional or alternative contraceptive methods may be recommended.
  • Diuretics (water pills): Using TZETOL SR 300MG TABLET together with diuretics may increase the risk of developing low sodium levels in the blood (hyponatraemia), which can become serious and require medical attention.
