ZYMOFLAM TABLET is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. The detailed uses of ZYMOFLAM TABLET are as follows:

• Inflammation Reduction: ZYMOFLAM TABLET assists in minimising inflammation, making it useful for conditions that involve swelling and discomfort.
• Post-Surgical Recovery: The enzyme content in ZYMOFLAM TABLET supports quicker recovery after surgical procedures by reducing swelling and promoting healing.
• Pain Relief: ZYMOFLAM TABLET helps relieve pain associated with conditions such as arthritis, sprains, strains, and minor surgical procedures like tooth extraction.
• Wound Healing: ZYMOFLAM TABLET aids in faster wound healing by breaking down proteins that contribute to swelling and pain, facilitating tissue repair.
• Management of Oedema: ZYMOFLAM TABLET is effective in reducing fluid retention and swelling, enhancing comfort and improving mobility in affected areas.

• Take ZYMOFLAM TABLET with or without food, or as advised by a doctor.

• ZYMOFLAM TABLET is a combination of one antioxidant (Rutoside) and two enzymes (Trypsin, Bromelain).
• Rutoside is an antioxidant (substances that prevent damage to cells) that works by protecting the body from damage caused by free radicals (unstable molecules produced by the body) and further decreases swelling.
• Trypsin removes dead skin cells and allows the growth of healthy tissue.
• In combination with Bromelain, Trypsin reduces swelling and inflammation by producing substances in the body against pain and swelling in the conditions of joint disorders like osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

• If you are allergic to ZYMOFLAM TABLET or any other medicines, please tell your doctor.
• People allergic to pineapple, carrot, papain, fennel, and pollen should avoid the intake of ZYMOFLAM TABLET.
• It is not recommended for pregnant women as it contains Bromelain, which may cause miscarriage, so if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, let your doctor know about this.
• If you are about to undergo any surgery, inform your doctor that you are taking ZYMOFLAM TABLET.
• It should be stopped a minimum of 2 weeks before surgery, as ZYMOFLAM TABLET may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery.
• If you have blood pressure problems, clotting or bleeding problems, infection, hematuria (blood in urine), hematemesis (vomiting blood), kidney or liver disorders, inform your doctor before taking ZYMOFLAM TABLET.

• Include more glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate, Vitamin D, and calcium-enriched supplements. Besides this, turmeric and fish oils can help in reducing inflammation in the tissue.
• Do not go for heavy exercise as it may increase your joint pain in arthritis. Instead, you can do stretching, low-impact aerobic exercise like walking on a treadmill, bike riding, and swimming. You can also increase your muscle strength by lifting light weights.
• Get adequate sleep, as resting the muscles can help in reducing inflammation and swelling.
• In the chronic condition of arthritis or joint pain, including fish like salmon, trout, tuna, and sardines. These fish are enriched with omega-3 fatty acids that minimise the level of chemicals called cytokines, which may increase inflammation.
• Your sitting posture is important, especially when you have a painful and inflammatory condition. Try to sit as little as possible, and only for a short time (10-15 min). Use a back support, like a rolled-up towel, at the back of your curve to minimise pain. Keep your hips and knees at a right angle. Besides this, you can use a footrest if required.
