Drug-Drug Interaction: Faa 20 Tablet may interact with antacids, antibiotics (ciprofloxacin, doxycycline, gentamicin, penicillamine), fit medicines (phenobarbital), heartburn medicines (omeprazole), anti-cancer drugs (cisplatin), and HIV/AIDS medicines (ritonavir).

Drug-Disease Interaction: Faa 20 Tablet should be used with caution in heart, liver or kidney diseases, iron overload disorders like hemochromatosis, hemosiderosis, and intestinal problems (ulcer, colitis).

How does the drug interact with Faa 20 Tablet:
Co-administration of Ferrous ascorbate, Folic acid with Capecitabine may increase the risk of side effects.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Ferrous ascorbate, Folic acid and Capecitabine, you can use these medicines together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience paleness of skin, loose stools, severe nausea and vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body aches, mouth ulcers or sores, numbness, burning or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, contact a doctor. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
