FAA 20 Suspension is used to treat anaemia (deficiency of iron and haemoglobin). Its deficiency occurs mainly due to a poor diet, poor food absorption, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). It contains Iron and folate, which help boost red blood cell (RBC) production. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body, so that each tissue in the body gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. It may cause side effects such as constipation, dry mouth, loss of appetite, bloating, and diarrhoea in some cases. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.
