रॉकबॉन डी टैबलेट 10's में दो विटामिन होते हैं: एलिमेंटल कैल्शियम और विटामिन डी3 (कोलेकैल्सीफेरोल)। एलिमेंटल कैल्शियम एक खनिज है जिसका उपयोग कैल्शियम की कमी को रोकने या उसका इलाज करने के लिए किया जाता है। यह हड्डियों के निर्माण को बनाए रखने के लिए आवश्यक पोषक तत्व प्रदान करता है। विटामिन डी3 एक स्टेरॉयड हार्मोन है जो पराबैंगनी प्रकाश के संपर्क में आने पर या खाद्य स्रोतों से प्राप्त होने पर त्वचा में उत्पन्न होता है। यह रक्त में कैल्शियम और फास्फोरस के स्तर और हड्डियों के खनिजीकरण को बनाए रखने में मदद करता है।

रॉकबॉन डी टैबलेट 10's का उपयोग शरीर में कैल्शियम के कम स्तर को बढ़ाने के लिए किया जाता है। इसलिए हाइपरकैल्सीमिया के दौरान रॉकबॉन डी टैबलेट 10's का उपयोग करने की सलाह नहीं दी जाती है क्योंकि इससे कैल्शियम की अधिक मात्रा हो जाती है जिससे किडनी में पथरी और अन्य प्रभाव हो सकते हैं।
