Drug-Drug Interaction: Tasiron Baby Drops may interact with medicines used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (penicillamine, sulfasalazine), blood cholesterol (cholestyramine), Parkinson's disease (levodopa, carbidopa), thyroid disease (thyroxine), bone disease (bisphosphonates), certain cancers (aminopterin, methotrexate), malaria (pyrimethamine), Wilson's disease (trientine), and antibiotics (cotrimoxazole, chloramphenicol, tetracyclines).

Drug-Food Interaction: Tasiron Baby Drops should not be taken along with alcohol, dairy products, and eggs as it might affect Tasiron Baby Drops absorption in the body.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Use Tasiron Baby Drops with caution in conditions like stomach ulcer, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), anaemia, or folate tumour.

How does the drug interact with Tasiron Baby Drops 14 ml:
Co-administration of Ferrous ascorbate, Folic acid with Capecitabine may increase the risk of side effects.

How to manage the interaction:
Although there is a possible interaction between Ferrous ascorbate, Folic acid and Capecitabine, you can use these medicines together if prescribed by the doctor. However, if you experience paleness of skin, loose stools, severe nausea and vomiting, tiredness, dizziness, fainting, blood in the stools, unusual bleeding or bruising, fever, chills, body aches, mouth ulcers or sores, numbness, burning or tingling sensation in the hands and feet, contact a doctor. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting a doctor.
