Vitcofol Suspension contains Ferrous Fumarate, Folic Acid, and Cyanocobalamin. Ferrous Fumarate and folic acid help in the transportation of oxygen throughout the body and the production of red blood cells. Cyanocobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the brain, nerves and the production of red blood cells.
Iron supplements cause the stools/poop to turn black or greyish. Do not worry, as it is a common side-effect that occurs due to loss of unabsorbed iron. Consult your doctor if you find tarry stools, red streaks in the poop or if you experience sharp pain, cramps, soreness in the stomach.
To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Vitcofol Suspension for as long as your doctor has recommended it. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Vitcofol Suspension .
