Basaglar 100IU/ml Kwikpen 3 ml works by replacing the insulin that is normally produced by the body. It helps move sugar from the blood into other body tissues where it is used for energy. Basaglar 100IU/ml Kwikpen 3 ml also prevents the liver from producing more sugar.

The active substance is insulin glargine. Each ml of the solution contains 100 units of insulin glargine (equivalent to 3.64 mg).

However, your doctor will decide whether Basaglar 100IU/ml Kwikpen 3 ml can be given to you or not depending on your present condition. Basaglar 100IU/ml Kwikpen 3 ml should be avoided in patients who are allergic to Basaglar 100IU/ml Kwikpen 3 ml or other forms of insulin.
