DERSOL L LOTION is a combination of two keratolytic agents, Lactic acid and Salicylic acid, used in the treatment of skin conditions like warts and the removal of calluses and corns. DERSOL L LOTION breaks down and dissolves a skin protein known as keratin and removes dead skin cells, thereby softening skin. Lactic acid also possesses antiviral properties and kills the virus that causes verrucas and warts.

DERSOL L LOTION is highly flammable (catches fire and burns easily). Therefore, avoid smoking or going near naked flames after applying DERSOL L LOTION.

Yes, DERSOL L LOTION may cause permanent damage to the clothes, fabrics, metal, jewellery or polished surfaces if it comes in contact with them. Therefore, apply DERSOL L LOTION carefully and avoid contact of DERSOL L LOTION with clothes, metals or polished surfaces.

DERSOL L LOTION may cause irritation of the skin if it comes in contact with healthy skin. Therefore, apply DERSOL L LOTION carefully only on the top of warts, verrucas, calluses and corns and avoid surrounding normal skin. However, if the irritation persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.

You are recommended to use DERSOL L LOTION for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. However, if the condition persists or worsens after 12 weeks of treatment with DERSOL L LOTION, please consult a doctor.

Wash your hands before and after applying DERSOL L LOTION. You are advised to soak the affected area in warm water for 2-3 minutes and let it dry thoroughly. Apply a thin coating of DERSOL L LOTION to the top of warts, verrucas, calluses and corns only. Then, let it dry for a few minutes to form a small white patch that is water-resistant and sticks to the treated area. The next evening, before applying the DERSOL L LOTION, carefully peel off the white patch and repeat the same process. Avoid contact of DERSOL L LOTION with normal skin, nose, mouth, eyes, breasts, armpits or genital area. If it accidentally comes into contact with these areas, rinse with water thoroughly.

If you accidentally apply DERSOL L LOTION to normal skin, it may cause irritation, redness, or a burning sensation. Immediately wash the affected area with soap and water to remove the solution. However, consult your doctor if you experience severe or persistent irritation.

The common side effects of DERSOL L LOTION are burning sensation, itching, scaling, skin dryness, mild tingling sensation, or tenderness at the application site. Please consult your doctor if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Do not apply DERSOL L LOTION on or near your face, armpits, breasts, open wounds or genital area. Also, avoid using it on birthmarks, moles, warts with hair growing from them or any other spots.

If you inhale the excess vapour, it may make you feel light-headed. In such a case, get plenty of fresh air and consult your doctor immediately if it worsens or persists for a long time.

DERSOL L LOTION is not recommended for use in children under 2 years of age. Children under 12 years should only use the medicine with help from an adult. However, consult your doctor before using the DERSOL L LOTION.
