Gnorm Sachet belongs to the group of medicines called probiotics used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Gnorm Sachet contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Gnorm Sachet helps in treating diarrhoea. Gnorm Sachet may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).

Gnorm Sachet can be taken with antibiotics if advised by the doctor. However, you are advised to maintain a gap of 2 hours between Gnorm Sachet and antibiotics.
