<p>Ligopil 2% Injection is used to provide local anesthesia and manage certain heart conditions. The detailed uses of Ligopil 2% Injection include:</p><ul><li><strong>Local anesthesia:</strong> Ligopil 2% Injection is applied to numb specific areas of the body during minor surgical procedures, dental work, or diagnostic tests.</li><li><strong>Treatment of ventricular arrhythmia:</strong> Ligopil 2% Injection is used to treat irregular heart rhythms originating from the lower chambers of the heart, particularly during cardiac emergencies.</li></ul>
Medicinal Benefits:
Ligopil 2% Injection is indicated for the production of regional or local anaesthesia in case of surgeries or medical procedures. Also, it is indicated in the management of ventricular arrhythmias (abnormal heartbeat) associated with acute myocardial infarction, or cardiac surgery. Ligopil 2% Injection blocks the influx (entry) of sodium ions into the membrane that surrounds the nerves, thereby preventing initiation and conduction of impulses and hence providing an anaesthetic effect. It blocks cardiac sodium channels, thereby treating arrhythmia.

Nausea and vomiting might be a side effect of Ligopil 2% Injection. It is not necessary for everyone taking Ligopil 2% Injection to experience these side effects. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
Ligopil 2% Injection might increase creatinine phosphokinase levels. Therefore, if you are undergoing any tests, inform the person doing the tests that you have taken Ligopil 2% Injection.
