SUMO L SPAS TABLET works by relaxing the muscles and inhibiting natural gut movements, thereby relieving muscle spasms and cramps in the stomach and intestine, abdominal pain, constipation and other gastrointestinal discomforts.

Antacids may lower the absorption of SUMO L SPAS TABLET and reduce its efficacy. It is advised to administer antacid and SUMO L SPAS TABLET at different times only if prescribed by your doctor. If you are supposed to administer antacids after meals, please give SUMO L SPAS TABLET to your child before meals.

If your child is suffering from IBS, limit giving high-fibre foods, foods and drinks that contain chocolate, caffeine, fructose, or sorbitol, carbonated drinks, and fried and fatty foods.
