About Airz Capsule

Airz Capsule belongs to the group of medicines called anticholinergics indicated for long-term, maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), including emphysema and/or chronic bronchitis. COPD is a lung disease that blocks airflow and makes it difficult to breathe.

Airz Capsule contains 'Glycopyrrolate', which works by relaxing the muscles around the airways in the lungs, thus making it easier to breathe. Thereby, Airz Capsule helps in the treatment of wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and chest tightness.

In some cases, Airz Capsule may cause common side effects such as upper respiratory tract infection, runny nose and sore throat. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Airz Capsule is for inhalation only; do not swallow. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Thus, it reduces symptoms like wheezing, breathlessness, and chronic cough.<br/>• Reduction of Exacerbations in COPD: Airz Capsule helps to reduce the risk of worsening of COPD symptoms. Thus, it results in fewer hospitalizations and improves overall quality of life.<br/>• Improved Lung Function: Airz Capsule improves airflow and thus makes breathing easier.<br/>

Directions for Use

  • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
  • Check the label for directions before use. Inhale the medicine by mouth using a special inhaler.
  • For oral inhalation use only.
  • Capsules are not to be swallowed.
  • After taking your medicine, rinse your mouth with water and spit out.

Side effects of Airz Capsule
  • If you notice any eye problems, like increased pressure inside your eyes or vision loss, see your doctor right away.
  • Your doctor may recommend eye drops to lower your eye pressure and protect your vision.
  • Eat foods high in vitamins C (like oranges, peppers, and tomatoes) and E (like peanuts, spinach, and broccoli) to help protect your eyes from cataracts or slow them down.
  • Avoid eating too much salt and drinking too much caffeine and alcohol.
  • Wear sunglasses when you are outside to protect your eyes from the sun.
  • Keep your blood pressure and sugar levels under control, as they can increase the risk of cataracts and glaucoma.
  • Regular exercise can help lower eye pressure and improve blood flow to your eyes.
  • Stress can raise eye pressure, so doing meditation, deep breathing, or yoga can help keep your stress in check.
  • Have regular check-ups with your eye doctor to help prevent vision loss.
  • If the urinary retention worsens, seek medical attention immediately.
  • Do pelvic floor exercises (Kegel exercises) to gain more control over urinary sphincters (muscles used to control urine flow out of the bladder).
  • Drink fluids only at certain times to control when you will urinate.
  • If you feel a frequent urge to urinate or have problems starting to urinate if your urine stream is weak or starts and stops, or if you feel pain in your genitals, lower abdomen or lower back, consult your doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Airz Capsule

Symptoms of overdose may include, nausea, vomiting, feeling dizzy or lightheaded, blurred vision or other vision problems, painful or red eyes, constipation, and difficulty urinating. Seek emergency medical help if you suspect that you might have taken an overdose of Airz Capsule .

Drug Warnings

Do not use Airz Capsule if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have glaucoma, prostate or bladder problems, irritable bowel syndrome, urinary retention, motion sickness, Parkinson's disease, ulcers, or kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Airz Capsule is not recommended for children below 18 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established.
