Albipin-At Tablet is an anti-hypertensive medication that is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). Hypertension is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the blood pressure against the artery walls becomes too high.
Albipin-At Tablet contains Amlodipine and Atenolol. Albipin-At Tablet reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. It also blocks stress hormones like adrenaline and epinephrine, thereby slowing down the increased heart rate.
Common side effects of Albipin-At Tablet include nausea, sleepiness, headache, palpitations, low blood pressure, cold extremities, flushing, slow heart rate, constipation, and tiredness. These side effects do not require medical attention. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Take Albipin-At Tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor with a full glass of water. Albipin-At Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with other blood pressure-lowering medicines, depending upon your blood pressure levels. Do not chew, bite, or break the medicine.
