About Alsita-MP 500 Tablet

Alsita-MP 500 Tablet belongs to the group of anti-diabetic medicines used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. This condition causes blood sugar to be too high because the body does not normally produce or use insulin.

Alsita-MP 500 Tablet contains Metformin, Pioglitazone, and Sitagliptin. These drugs work by increasing the body’s response to insulin and decreasing the amount of glucose made by the liver and absorbed from food. Thus, it helps control blood sugar levels.

 In some cases, Alsita-MP 500 Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, and headache. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if any side effects persist or worsen, consult the doctor.

Take this medication preferably at the same time each day to ensure consistency and effectiveness.• Swallow Alsita-MP 500 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

Alsita-MP 500 Tablet is used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. It contains Metformin (biguanides), Pioglitazone (thiazolidinediones) and Sitagliptin (dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors). Metformin increases the body’s response to insulin and decreases the amount of glucose absorbed from food and made by the liver. Pioglitazone enhances the body’s sensitivity to insulin. Sitagliptin increases certain natural substances in the body that lower blood glucose levels. Drug Warnings

Do not take Alsita-MP 500 Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have type 1 diabetes, kidney or liver problems, diabetic ketoacidosis, heart problems, pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas), high triglycerides, gallstones, alcoholism, bladder cancer, eye problems caused by diabetes, bone problems, or if you use insulin.
