Ambrodil Tablet is primarily used to treat cough. It also treats acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) respiratory diseases characterised by excess mucus. Coughing is the body’s way of clearing irritants (such as allergens, mucus, or smoke) from the airways.

Ambrodil Tablet contains Ambroxol, which works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose.

Ambrodil Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, changes in taste, and numbness in the mouth, tongue, and throat. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are known to be allergic to Ambrodil Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Ambrodil Tablet . If you have had kidney or liver problems, stomach ulcers, asthma, or a cough for a long time, please inform your doctor before taking Ambrodil Tablet .

Ambrodil Tablet is used to treat Cough, Respiratory disorder with a viscous cough. The detailed uses of Ambrodil Tablet are as follows:

• Cough suppressant: Ambrodil Tablet helps to relieve coughs caused by excess mucus, making it easier to breathe and feel more comfortable during colds or flu.
• Chest congestion relief: Ambrodil Tablet relieves chest congestion caused by excess mucus by making it easier to breathe and cough up mucus.

• Ambrodil Tablet can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken 2-3 times daily at the same time each day or as directed by your doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dropper provided with the pack.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

• Ambrodil Tablet  aids in the breakdown and thinning of heavy mucus in the airways, facilitating coughing.

• There have been reports of severe skin allergic reactions with Ambrodil Tablet , so if you develop a skin rash, stop using Ambrodil Tablet immediately and contact your doctor immediately.
• If you are allergic to some sugars, please inform your doctor as Ambrodil Tablet may contain sorbitol.
• You are recommended not to take Ambrodil Tablet for more than 10 days without your doctor’s advice.
