Ambrodil Drops is primarily used to treat cough. It also treats acute (short-term) and chronic (long-term) respiratory diseases characterised by excess mucus. Coughing is the body’s way of clearing irritants (such as allergens, mucus, or smoke) from the airways.

Ambrodil Drops contains Ambroxol, which works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose.

Ambrodil Drops may cause side effects such as nausea, changes in taste, and numbness in the mouth, tongue, and throat. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

• Ambrodil Drops can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken 2-3 times daily at the same time each day or as directed by your doctor.
• Shake the bottle well before each use.
• Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dropper provided with the pack.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.
