It contains Levosalbutamol, Ambroxol hydrochloride, and Guaiphenesin. Levosalbutamol works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Ambroxol hydrochloride works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose. Thereby helping to cough out phlegm easily. Guaiphenesin increases the volume of fluid in the airways, reduces the stickiness of mucus, and helps remove it from the airways. Together, Ambrodil-LS Syrup 100 ml helps relieve the cough.

Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Ambrodil-LS Syrup 100 ml may include bleeding from the stomach or duodenum, decreased motility or constipation, dizziness or drowsiness, eye irritation, fatigue, gastrointestinal discomfort, gastrointestinal tract irritation, headache, hypokalaemia, nausea, nervousness, peritonitis, respiratory tract irritation, skin irritation, sleeplessness, tachycardia, tremor, and ulceration. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.
