Ambrohist-S Syrup is a cough syrup. It is used to treat cough associated with mucus and chest congestion caused by the common cold and flu in children. It contains Ambroxol and Terbutaline. About Ambrohist-S Syrup

Ambrohist-S Syrup is a cough syrup. It helps relieve cough associated with mucus and chest congestion caused by the common cold and flu in children. Coughing can be defined as the body's way of clearing irritants like allergens, mucus or smoke from the airways.

Ambrohist-S Syrup is a combination medicine of Ambroxol and Terbutaline. Ambroxol works by thinning and loosening phlegm (mucus) in the lungs, windpipe, and nose, whereas terbutaline relaxes muscles and widens the airways.

Ambrohist-S Syrup may cause certain side effects such as nausea, vomiting, headache, diarrhoea, tremors, and stomach upset. If these side effects worsen, please consult your child's doctor. Ambrohist-S Syrup should be given as advised by the doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Ambrohist-S Syrup

Do not take more than prescribed dose. Symptoms of an overdose include extensions of the common undesirable effects (e.g., diarrhea, dyspepsia, pyrosis, nausea, vomiting, and skin rashes. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience these or think you have taken too much.
