Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml is used for the treatment of Eye Infections: The combination of amikacin (an antibiotic) and dexamethasone (an anti-inflammatory) is effective in treating bacterial eye infections while controlling inflammation and swelling:

• Post-Surgical Recovery: This combination is often used after eye surgeries, such as cataract surgery or corneal surgery, to prevent infection and manage inflammation and discomfort during recovery.
• Management of Allergies: It can be used to treat allergic reactions in the eye, where inflammation and irritation are significant issues.
• Dry Eye Syndrome: Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose helps manage dry eye symptoms by acting as a lubricant to protect the eye surface and provide moisture.

Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml is a combination medication. It contains Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (ocular lubricants), dexamethasone, and amikacin (antibiotic). Amikacin works by inhibiting the synthesis of essential proteins necessary for bacterial survival. Dexamethasone phosphate blocks the production of prostaglandins that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) works as a lubricant by forming a protective film over the eye surface, reducing dryness and irritation. It helps retain moisture, providing relief from discomfort caused by insufficient tear production.

• Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml is for external use only.
• Wash your hands thoroughly with water before and after use. Use the dropper provided with the pack to instil the drops into the affected eye.
• Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket.
• Your doctor will advise you how many drops to instil based on your medical condition.
• Replace the outer cap after use.
• Please do not touch the container's tip to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml.

• Wash your hands regularly. Avoid touching the eyes with dirty hands.
• Avoid rubbing the eyes.
• Avoid sharing eye makeup such as eyeliner, mascara, or kohl.
• Always use clean towels or tissues to wipe your eyes and face.
• Regularly wash and change the pillowcases.
• Clean and replace contact lenses more often. Never share contact lenses. 
• Always wash your hands before inserting and removing the contact lens.
• Avoid staring at digital screens for long durations. Rest your eyes for every 20 minutes.
• Blink regularly, as it helps spread hydrating substances, such as mucus and tears, across the eyes.

Do not use Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml if you are allergic to any of its contents. Before using the Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml, inform your doctor that you have/had eye surgery, high closed-angle glaucoma, high blood pressure, ocular hypertension, diabetes, eye infection or illness, hyperthyroidism, heart, kidney, or liver problems. Avoid touching the dropper tip or bringing it close to your eyelids to prevent contamination. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before instilling the drops. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before using Aromik D Eye Drops 5 ml. Since this medication may cause temporary blurred vision, avoid driving or operating machinery until your vision clears.
