About Asthamon-5 Chewable Tablet

Asthamon-5 Chewable Tablet is primarily used to treat seasonal allergies and asthma. An allergy is an immune system response to foreign elements, known as allergens, that are typically not harmful to your body. Asthma is a local inflammatory disease of the lungs and airways, characterised by exaggerated airway narrowing and the production of excessive mucus.

Asthamon-5 Chewable Tablet contains montelukast, which works by blocking a chemical messenger (leukotriene) and reducing inflammation and swelling in the airways of the lungs.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as diarrhoea, headache, abdominal cramps, flu-like symptoms, nausea, dizziness, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
