Atortel Tablet is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol level). Additionally, it is used to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke in adults. It contains Telmisartan and Atorvastatin, which relaxes and widens the blood vessels. Thus, lowers high blood pressure. Also, it lowers the level of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) or bad cholesterol in the blood. It helps to decrease the production of cholesterol that may build up in the blood vessels (arteries) of the heart, brain, and other parts of the body. In some cases, it may cause a sinus infection, dizziness, hyperglycemia (excess of glucose in the bloodstream), headache, blurred vision, constipation, nausea, diarrhoea, muscle spasms, and back pain.
