Azee 500 Injection 5 ml is used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as pneumonia (lung infection) and infections of the reproductive organs. It is prescribed for treating severe infections when oral therapy is ineffective. A bacterial infection is a condition in which bacteria grow in the body and cause an infection. 

Azee 500 Injection 5 ml contains azithromycin, which slows the growth or sometimes kills the harmful bacteria by preventing the production of proteins required by the bacteria for its survival. Azee 500 Injection 5 ml does not treat a viral infection like the flu or a common cold.

Not everyone who receives Azee 500 Injection 5 ml will experience these side effects. You may experience pain, itching, swelling or redness at the site of injection, stomach cramps, nausea, diarrhoea, wind, dizziness, headache, and indigestion.
