About Azika Plus LB Tablet
Azika Plus LB Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, skin, nose, throat, chest, lungs, and urinary tract. Azika Plus LB Tablet is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria enter, multiply, and infect the body. Azika Plus LB Tablet does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.
Azika Plus LB Tablet is a combination of three drugs, namely: Azithromycin, Cefixime, and Lactobacillus. Azithromycin prevents the synthesis of essential proteins which are required for the survival of the bacteria. Cefixime works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, kills the bacteria. Lactobacillus is a probiotic which helps in restoring the balance of good bacteria in the gut, which may have gotten upset due to the infection. Together, Azika Plus LB Tablet helps in treating bacterial infections.
Take Azika Plus LB Tablet as prescribed. The dose and duration of Azika Plus LB Tablet can vary depending on your condition and the severity of the infection. In some cases, you may experience common side-effects such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, loss of appetite, and stomach upset. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Azika Plus LB Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive with caution. Avoid alcohol consumption while taking Azika Plus LB Tablet to prevent unpleasant side effects. Azika Plus LB Tablet is safe for children if prescribed by a doctor; the dose and duration may vary depending on the child’s weight and the severity of the infection. Inform your doctor about your health condition and medications to rule out any unpleasant side effects/interactions.
