About Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops

Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops is used to treat several bacterial infections of the upper/lower respiratory tract, middle ear, skin and soft tissue. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. 

Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops contains Azithromycin, which works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, it prevents the growth of bacteria.

Not every child who is taking Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops will get these side effects. Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops may cause common side effects such as diarrhoea, vomiting, headache, nausea or stomach pain. Most of these side effects of Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

What if I have taken an overdose of Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops

Do not exceed the recommended dose. An overdose of Aziro-200 Paed Oral Drops can be harmful and may cause adverse events such as loss of hearing, feeling sick or being sick and diarrhoea. If you take more than the prescribed dose accidentally, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or call the doctor immediately. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort.
