Azokid 0.1% Cream

Azokid 0.1% Cream is used to reduce inflammation (swelling), itchiness and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches.

Azokid 0.1% Cream contains Mometasone, which works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling.

Some people may experience inflamed hair follicles, acne, thinning of the skin, itching, stinging, tingling or burning sensation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.

Please inform your doctor if you are allergic to mometasone or any other medications. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Azokid 0.1% Cream. Azokid 0.1% Cream is not recommended for children for long-term use as it may lead to slow growth.

• Psoriasis Management: Azokid 0.1% Cream helps treat psoriasis by reducing plaques and scaling, providing relief from discomfort.
• Allergic Reactions: Azokid 0.1% Cream is suitable for managing skin allergies, such as contact dermatitis, by alleviating swelling and irritation.
• Inflammatory Skin Conditions: Azokid 0.1% Cream is beneficial for various inflammatory skin disorders, helping to soothe irritation and reduce discomfort.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Take a small amount of Azokid 0.1% Cream on the fingertip and apply it as a thin layer on the clean and dry affected area as advised by your doctor.
• Azokid 0.1% Cream is only for external use. Do not apply Azokid 0.1% Cream on the broken skin or wounds.

• When the skin reacts to any allergens, such substances are released normally.

• Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Mometasone or other medicines.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Azokid 0.1% Cream.
• Azokid 0.1% Cream is not recommended for children for long-term use as it may lead to slow growth.
• Contact your doctor immediately if you notice vision changes after using Azokid 0.1% Cream.
• Stop using Azokid 0.1% Cream and contact your doctor if your skin becomes sensitive or irritated.
• If you use Azokid 0.1% Cream for psoriasis, your doctor may review the progress regularly.
• If your condition reoccurs shortly after stopping treatment with Azokid 0.1% Cream, within two weeks, do not restart using Azokid 0.1% Cream without consulting your doctor.
• Do not cover or wrap the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor.
• Avoid using Azokid 0.1% Cream for more than 5 days in children and on the face.
• Avoid using Azokid 0.1% Cream in or around the eyes, including eyelids.
• Do not use Azokid 0.1% Cream on large areas of the body or for a longer duration.
• Use Azokid 0.1% Cream as prescribed. You are advised to use Azokid 0.1% Cream for as long as your doctor has recommended it based on your condition.
• Azokid 0.1% Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact of Azokid 0.1% Cream with nose, mouth, or eyes. In case Azokid 0.1% Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.
