Azulix DM 1 Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine used to treat diabetes. It is used for the treatment of Type II Diabetes. Type II Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic condition that influences the body's metabolism of glucose or blood sugar. Insulin resistance or insufficient insulin production are the two main causes of type 2 diabetes.

Azulix DM 1 Tablet contains Dapagliflozin (sodium-glucose cotransporter-2 inhibitors), Metformin (biguanides), and Glimepiride (sulfonylurea), which work by increasing the amounts of certain natural substances that lower blood sugar when it is high.

Azulix DM 1 Tablet may cause certain side effects, such as vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, headache, and allergic reactions. If these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. Azulix DM 1 Tablet should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. 

Azulix DM 1 Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to any of the medicines or their components. Azulix DM 1 Tablet is used in the treatment of Type II Diabetes Mellitus. The detailed uses of Azulix DM 1 Tablet are as follows:

• Type 2 diabetes management: Azulix DM 1 Tablet helps control high blood sugar levels in adults when lifestyle changes and dual therapy are not sufficient.
• Improved glycemic control: Azulix DM 1 Tablet regulates blood glucose through several complementary actions, including enhancing insulin secretion, improving how the body responds to insulin, and increasing the elimination of excess glucose through urine.
• Reduction of HbA1c levels: Azulix DM 1 Tablet aims to lower glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c), which reflects long-term blood sugar control.
• Prevention of complications: Azulix DM 1 Tablet helps reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications such as kidney damage, nerve issues, and heart disease.

• Take Azulix DM 1 Tablet with food to reduce stomach upset or gastrointestinal side effects.
• Recommended to take it once daily in the morning or as advised by your doctor.
• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

Azulix DM 1 Tablet  is a combination of three drugs, namely: Dapagliflozin, Metformin and Glimepiride. Azulix DM 1 Tablet belongs to the group of anti-diabetic medicines used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. Dapagliflozin helps remove excess sugar from the body via urine. Metformin helps reduce the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines. Glimepiride works by stimulating beta cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. Thus, insulin helps to remove sugar from the blood.

Avoid drinking alcohol while on Azulix DM 1 Tablet  as it increases the risk of hypoglycemia and lactic acidosis (when the lactic acid increases in the body, which impacts the functioning of various organs in the body).
