Biomab Egfr 50 mg Injection belongs to the group of anti-cancer medicines used to treat head and neck cancer with concurrent chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy. It may also be indicated in the treatment of glioma (growth of tumours in the brain or spinal cord) and nasopharyngeal cancer.

Biomab Egfr 50 mg Injection contains Nimotuzumab, a recombinant humanised monoclonal antibody that works by binding to receptors on cancer cells and prevents them from destroying the body’s immune system. Thereby, it helps treat cancer.

In some cases, Biomab Egfr 50 mg Injection may cause side effects like fever, chills, headache, itching, and mucositis. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. Do not be reluctant to talk with your doctor if any of the side effects persist or worsen.
