Bonstruct-NS Nasal Spray 60 MDI is primarily indicated for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis in women more than five years postmenopause when alternative therapies are unsuitable. Post-menopausal osteoporosis is a medical condition that causes thinning and weakening of the bones during/after a menopausal period.

Bonstruct-NS Nasal Spray 60 MDI contains Calcitonin, a human hormone that prevents bone breakdown and increases bone density (thickness). Thus, it helps treat osteoporosis in postmenopausal women.

Use Bonstruct-NS Nasal Spray 60 MDI as prescribed by the doctor. Bonstruct-NS Nasal Spray 60 MDI may cause certain side effects such as hypocalcemia, runny nose, nosebleed, sinus pain, application site reactions such as rhinitis (stuffy nose), epistaxis (nose bleeds) and other nasal symptoms, back pain, arthralgia (Joint pain) and headache. It reduces the risk of vertebral fractures by mimicking the natural hormone calcitonin, which regulates calcium levels and inhibits bone breakdown.
• Manage bone pain in Paget’s disease: Bonstruct-NS Nasal Spray 60 MDI alleviates bone discomfort associated with abnormal bone remodeling in Paget’s disease by suppressing osteoclast activity and stabilizing bone turnover.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Remove the cap of the bottle, insert the tip into a nostril while closing the other nostril, and spray towards the sides of the nostril. Keep your head straight and breathe gently. Repeat the same process for another nostril.
• Wipe the nozzle with a clean tissue and replace the cap after each use.
