About Brivatop 25 Tablet

Brivatop 25 Tablet is used for treating partial-onset seizures in patients one month of age and older. Partial-onset seizures are characterised by abnormal electrical activity in only one brain hemisphere.

Brivatop 25 Tablet contains Brivaracetam, which reduces the electrical impulses and abnormal nerve activity. Thereby, it helps control seizures.

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as sleepiness, dizziness, fatigue, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before taking Brivatop 25 Tablet , let your doctor know about your medical conditions, sensitivities, and medications you are using. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

What if I have taken an overdose of Brivatop 25 Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Brivatop 25 Tablet as it may cause an overdose. The symptoms of overdose include vertigo, nausea, fatigue (overtired), balance disorder, anxiety, double vision and slow heart rate. If you suspect you have taken an overdose or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.
