Cal4U HD Tablet works by increasing calcium and vitamin D levels in the body, thereby supporting the essential functions necessary for bone formation and maintenance. Together, they help prevent bone loss, support bone growth, and reduce muscle cramps caused by low calcium levels.

Cal4U HD Tablet is likely safe to consume. In some cases, it may cause common side effects like constipation, stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weakness, tiredness, and headache. What if I have taken an overdose of Cal4U HD Tablet

Take Cal4U HD Tablet only as suggested by the physician. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose as it could lead to an overdose. Symptoms of overdose may include vomiting, nausea, loss of appetite, headache, mental/mood changes, weakness, drowsiness, and tiredness. If you experience these symptoms or suspect you have taken an overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

Drug Warnings

  • Avoid taking Cal4U HD Tablet if you are allergic to it.
  • It may contain sugar or aspartame. Hence, caution should be taken in managing diabetes and phenylketonuria (a condition characterised by increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine).
  • Inform your doctor if you have any history of hypercalcemia (increased calcium levels in the body), kidney disease, liver disease, electrolyte imbalance, heart disease, kidney stones and hypervitaminosis D (having too much vitamin D) before taking Cal4U HD Tablet .
  • Higher doses of Vitamin D than the recommended daily dose should be used in pregnant women only when advised by the doctor.

Cal4U HD Tablet contains Calcium citrate malate and Cholecalciferol. Calcium citrate malate is a calcium supplement used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. Cholecalciferol is vitamin D3 that helps the body to absorb calcium and phosphorous. You are not recommended to take Cal4U HD Tablet if you have hypervitaminosis D (high vitamin D levels in the blood), as it may worsen the condition. However, please consult a doctor before using Cal4U HD Tablet .

Cal4U HD Tablet is not recommended for patients with malabsorption (inefficient absorption of nutrients from the bowel) syndrome. Please consult a doctor before using Cal4U HD Tablet if you have malabsorption syndrome.

It is not recommended to take Cal4U HD Tablet with levothyroxine, as co-administration of these two medicines may reduce the effectiveness of levothyroxine. However, if you are supposed to take both medicines, you are advised to maintain a time gap of at least 4 hours between taking Cal4U HD Tablet and levothyroxine.

Cal4U HD Tablet is not recommended for a patient suffering from kidney stones, as it may worsen the condition. Therefore, if you have any kidney problems or have a history of kidney stones, please inform your doctor before taking Cal4U HD Tablet .
