Caledoc Plus Tablet is used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels and their associated conditions, such as osteoporosis (weak and brittle bones), osteomalacia/rickets (weak bones), hypoparathyroidism (low levels of parathyroid hormone), and latent tetany (a muscle disease with low blood calcium levels).
Caledoc Plus Tablet contains Calcium citrate, calcium aspartate, calcium orotate, and vitamin D3, which provide essential nutrients required for proper bone formation and maintenance. It also plays an important role in preserving bone density and overall skeletal health.
Take Caledoc Plus Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience nausea, headache, vomiting, constipation or dry mouth. Caledoc Plus Tablet belongs to the class of nutritional supplements used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in people who cannot get sufficient calcium from their diets.
Caledoc Plus Tablet contains Calcium citrate, calcium aspartate, calcium orotate and vitamin D3. They provide essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. Vitamin D3 helps the body to absorb calcium and phosphorus. Thereby, increases calcium levels in the blood and helps to build and maintain strong bones.
You are not recommended to take Caledoc Plus Tablet if you have hypervitaminosis D (high levels of vitamin D in blood), as it may worsen the condition. Please consult a doctor before using Caledoc Plus Tablet if you have high levels of vitamin D.
Caledoc Plus Tablet may be safe for elderly patients if used in doses as advised by a doctor. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
You are not recommended to take Caledoc Plus Tablet with levothyroxine as co-administration of these two medicines at the same time may reduce the effectiveness of levothyroxine. However, if you are supposed to take both the medicines, you are advised to maintain a time gap of at least 4 hours between taking Caledoc Plus Tablet and levothyroxine.
