CANAZOLE VG TABLET is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.

CANAZOLE VG TABLET comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. CANAZOLE VG TABLET eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use CANAZOLE VG TABLET as recommended by the physician. In some cases, CANAZOLE VG TABLET may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of CANAZOLE VG TABLET eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.

Do not use CANAZOLE VG TABLET if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. CANAZOLE VG TABLET is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use CANAZOLE VG TABLET without a doctor's advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with CANAZOLE VG TABLET. Avoid using CANAZOLE VG TABLET during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses are over.

• Check the label for directions before use.
• Wash your hands thoroughly before and after inserting CANAZOLE VG TABLET.
• Pull out plunger A until it stops. Place one vaginal tablet into the applicator B. Insert applicator carefully into the vagina, as deep as possible. Push plunger A until it stops. Remove the applicator from the vagina.
• Wash the applicator after each use in warm soapy water and dry completely.
• For vaginal insertion only. Not for oral use.
• During pregnancy, the vaginal tablet should be inserted without using an applicator.
