About Clodoc V6 Tablet

Clodoc V6 Tablet is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.

Clodoc V6 Tablet comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Clodoc V6 Tablet eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Clodoc V6 Tablet as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Clodoc V6 Tablet may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Clodoc V6 Tablet eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.

Do not use Clodoc V6 Tablet if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Clodoc V6 Tablet is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Clodoc V6 Tablet without a doctor's advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with Clodoc V6 Tablet. Avoid using Clodoc V6 Tablet during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses are over.

• Treatment of Vaginal Yeast Infections: Clodoc V6 Tablet is primarily used to treat infections caused by the overgrowth of yeast (Candida species) in the vaginal area.
• Relief from Itching and Discomfort: Clodoc V6 Tablet helps alleviate symptoms such as itching, burning, and discomfort associated with vaginal yeast infections.
• Prevention of Recurrent Yeast Infections: By treating the yeast infection effectively, Clodoc V6 Tablet can help prevent recurrent vaginal infections.

Directions for Use

  • Check the label for directions before use.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after inserting Clodoc V6 Tablet.
  • Pull out plunger A until it stops. Place one vaginal tablet into the applicator B. Insert applicator carefully into the vagina, as deep as possible. Push plunger A until it stops. Remove the applicator from the vagina.
  • Wash the applicator after each use in warm soapy water and dry completely.
  • For vaginal insertion only. Not for oral use.
  • During pregnancy, the vaginal tablet should be inserted without using an applicator.

What if I have taken an overdose of Clodoc V6 Tablet

Use Clodoc V6 Tablet as directed by your doctor. If an overdose occurs, certain adverse effects may be dangerous. Call your doctor right away and discontinue using clotrimazole if you encounter any of the symptoms like rash and hives, stomach ache, fever, chills, queasy, throwing up, unpleasant-smelling vaginal secretions.

  • Don't share your bedding, towels, or clothes.
  • Wearing tights or tight underwear is not recommended.
  • Do not scratch the infected area. Scratching the infected skin area may spread the illness to other body parts.
  • Avoid harsh soaps and deodorants or any other products.
  • Avoid intercourse till the thrush has been treated.
  • Limit or cut down your consumption of alcohol and caffeine.
  • Reduce your intake of sugar, yeast, refined carbohydrates, and mouldy foods.
