About Candid-V6 Tablet

Candid-V6 Tablet is used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.

Candid-V6 Tablet comprises clotrimazole, which works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Candid-V6 Tablet eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Candid-V6 Tablet as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Candid-V6 Tablet may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions, including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Candid-V6 Tablet eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.

Do not use Candid-V6 Tablet if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Candid-V6 Tablet is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Candid-V6 Tablet without a doctor's advice. Tampons and other vaginal products should not be used while on treatment with Candid-V6 Tablet. Avoid using Candid-V6 Tablet during the menstrual period (menses); wait until menses are over.

Uses of Candid-V6 Tablet

Candid-V6 Tablet is used in the treatment of vaginal thrush (candidiasis). The detailed uses of Candid-V6 Tablet are as follows:<br/>• Treatment of Vaginal Yeast Infections: Candid-V6 Tablet is primarily used to treat infections caused by the overgrowth of yeast (Candida species) in the vaginal area.<br/>• Relief from Itching and Discomfort: Candid-V6 Tablet helps alleviate symptoms such as itching, burning, and discomfort associated with vaginal yeast infections.<br/>• Prevention of Recurrent Yeast Infections: By treating the yeast infection effectively, Candid-V6 Tablet can help prevent recurrent vaginal infections.<br/>

Directions for Use

  • Check the label for directions before use.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after inserting Candid-V6 Tablet.
  • Pull out plunger A until it stops. Place one vaginal tablet into the applicator B. Insert applicator carefully into the vagina, as deep as possible. Push plunger A until it stops. Remove the applicator from the vagina.
  • Wash the applicator after each use in warm soapy water and dry completely.
  • For vaginal insertion only. Not for oral use.
  • During pregnancy, the vaginal tablet should be inserted without using an applicator.

What if I have taken an overdose of Candid-V6 Tablet

Use Candid-V6 Tablet as directed by your doctor. If an overdose occurs, certain adverse effects may be dangerous. Call your doctor right away and discontinue using clotrimazole if you encounter any of the symptoms like rash and hives, stomach ache, fever, chills, queasy, throwing up, unpleasant-smelling vaginal secretions.

Do not use Candid-V6 Tablet if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Candid-V6 Tablet is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Candid-V6 Tablet without a doctor's advice. It is also not recommended to use Candid-V6 Tablet during your menstrual period (menses); wait until your period is over. During treatment, vaginal medications frequently leak out of the vagina. You may wear a mini-pad or sanitary napkin to prevent the medicine from staining your clothes.
