Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is an antibiotic that belongs to the third generation of fluoroquinolones. It is a highly effective antibiotic that works against a variety of bacteria. Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is used in a variety of bacterial infections, most importantly acute pneumonia (Lung infection), bronchitis (Inflammation of the lung passages), skin infections, and urinary tract infections. A bacterial infection is a condition in which bacteria grow in the body and cause an infection. It can target any body part and multiple parts very quickly.

Dangerous bacteria can make you sick and replicate in your body quickly. Harmful bacteria create chemicals known as toxins that can harm the tissue and make you ill. Cezlevo 5mg Tablet sticks to enzymes (Topoisomerase IV & DNA gyrase) responsible for the division of bacteria & stop the process of multiplication of bacteria & hence kills bacteria.

The dose of Cezlevo 5mg Tablet can vary depending on your condition and the severity of the infection. Cezlevo 5mg Tablet may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation, trouble sleeping, and allergy. These side effects do not require immediate attention and will resolve eventually. Nevertheless, if the side effects are persistent, contact your doctor.

Before starting Cezlevo 5mg Tablet, please inform your doctor if you have any allergies (to any antibiotic), kidney or liver problems. Do not take Cezlevo 5mg Tablet on your own, as self-medication may lead to antibiotic resistance, in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections. And also, if prescribed by your doctor Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Respiratory Infections: Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is the antibiotic, effective against bacterial respiratory infections like pneumonia and bronchitis.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is also used to treat complicated and uncomplicated UTIs.
• Skin Infections: Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is prescribed to treat skin and soft tissue infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Sinusitis: Cezlevo 5mg Tablet helps to treat bacterial sinus infections, easing symptoms and eliminating the disease.
• Prostatitis: Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is effective in treating bacterial prostatitis, an infection that causes prostate gland inflammation.
• Pelvic inflammatory disease: Cezlevo 5mg Tablet can be used to treat Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID), a bacterial infection of the female reproductive organs.

• Cezlevo 5mg Tablet can be taken with or without food.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Cezlevo 5mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

Cezlevo 5mg Tablet is an antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections resulting in pneumonia (Fluid buildup in the lungs), urinary tract infection, bladder infection, prostate gland infection, as well as skin infections. Cezlevo 5mg Tablet inhibits the growth of bacteria that are then destroyed by the immune cells of our body. Cezlevo 5mg Tablet also kills bacteria by disrupting their inner cellular contents, thus fighting infection, with lesser chances of causing bacterial resistance to it as compared to other antibiotics.

Do not take Cezlevo 5mg Tablet if you are allergic or have had a severe reaction to any fluoroquinolone antibiotics such as delafloxacin, gemifloxacin, ofloxacin, moxifloxacin, and ciprofloxacin. Taking Cezlevo 5mg Tablet may increase the chances of developing tendinitis (swelling of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle) or having a tendon rupture (tearing of a fibrous tissue that connects a bone to a muscle). Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had a kidney, heart, or lung transplant, kidney disease, a joint or tendon disorder such as rheumatoid arthritis (an autoimmune disorder of joints causing pain, swelling, and loss of function), seizures (fits), epilepsy or if you participate in regular physical activity. Taking Cezlevo 5mg Tablet may worsen muscle weakness in people with myasthenia gravis (a nervous system disorder that causes muscle weakness) and cause severe difficulty breathing or death. Dairy products should be avoided along with Cezlevo 5mg Tablet. And also, exposure to sunlight should be avoided while taking Cezlevo 5mg Tablet as it may cause increased phototoxicity or photosensitivity. Patients with epilepsy and irregular heartbeat (QT prolongation) should tell their doctor before taking Cezlevo 5mg Tablet.
