• Respiratory tract infections: It helps clear bacterial infections of the lungs, airways, and throat by stopping bacterial growth and easing breathing difficulties.
• Ear and tonsil infections: This medication targets harmful bacteria in the ENT (ear, nose, and throat) region, reducing painful swelling and congestion.
• Typhoid fever: This medicine may be prescribed for typhoid fever when considered appropriate by your doctor. As antibiotic resistance is increasingly common, treatment should be guided by culture and antibiotic sensitivity test results whenever possible.
• Prevention of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea: Including beneficial bacteria, it helps maintain a healthy balance in your digestive tract, preventing the severe diarrhoea often caused by strong antibiotics.

• Chemifix-AZ Tablet can be taken with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication for accurate results.
• Swallow the whole tablet with a glass of water.
• Do not break, chew or crush Chemifix-AZ Tablet.

• Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and clear broths to help your kidneys flush out the medication and to prevent dehydration from infection.
• Eat easily digestible foods: Stick to simple, bland meals like rice, toast, and bananas to prevent stomach irritation while taking antibiotics.
• Avoid alcohol: Do not consume alcohol during your treatment, as it can worsen dizziness, cause dehydration, and increase stomach upset.
• Rest adequately: Allow your body to rest so your immune system can focus its energy on fighting off the bacterial infection.

• Complete the full course: Complete the entire prescribed course of medicine, even if your symptoms improve after a few days. Stopping treatment early may allow the infection to return and increase the risk of antibiotic resistance.
• Separate from antacids: Do not take antacids containing magnesium or aluminium within 2 hours of taking this medicine, as they can significantly reduce antibiotic absorption.
