Cilinix Trio Tablet 10's

Cilinix Trio Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels. Symptoms include headache, dizziness, nosebleeds, changes in vision, chest pain, weakness and dyspnea (shortness of breath).

Cilinix Trio Tablet is a combination of three drugs, namely: Cilnidipine, Chlorthalidone, and Metoprolol succinate. Cilnidipine acts on the calcium channels of the blood vessels and suppresses the contraction of blood vessels, thereby helping blood flow smoothly. Chlorthalidone lowers blood pressure and swelling by removing excess fluid and electrolytes via urine. Metoprolol succinate slows down the heart rate and makes it easier to pump blood throughout the body.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as headache, nausea, dizziness, abdominal pain, and weakness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Limited information is available regarding the usage of Cilinix Trio Tablet in children; please consult a doctor if you have any concerns. Cilinix Trio Tablet is used to treat Hypertension (high blood pressure). The detailed uses of Cilinix Trio Tablet are as follows:

• Treatment of hypertension: Cilinix Trio Tablet helps lower and maintain blood pressure within the normal range.
• Prevention of heart complications: Cilinix Trio Tablet lowers the risk of stroke, heart attack, and heart failure associated with high blood pressure.
• Heart rate: Cilinix Trio Tablet helps maintain a steady heart rhythm and reduce cardiac strain.

• Take Cilinix Trio Tablet with or without food as advised by the doctor.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not break, crush, or chew it.

• Do not take Cilinix Trio Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents.
• Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, circulation problems, asthma, thyroid disorder, adrenal gland tumour, gout, high cholesterol, hypotension/low blood pressure, heart/kidney/liver problems, if you are on a low-salt diet or if you are unable to urinate.
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Cilinix Trio Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive with caution.
• Avoid consuming alcohol as it might cause increased dizziness. Rise slowly from lying/sitting position as Cilinix Trio Tablet may cause dizziness (orthostatic hypotension).
