Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye and ear. It is used to treat pink eye (bacterial conjunctivitis), eye ulcers (corneal ulcers), severe outer ear infections (malignant otitis externa), and chronic middle ear infections (chronic otitis media) caused by susceptible bacteria.

Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop contains ciprofloxacin, which works by blocking the enzymes (DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV) that bacteria need to multiply. Thus, Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop kills bacteria and helps clear infections in the eyes and ears.

Use Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Ciplox Eye/Ear Drop may cause common side effects, including discomfort, irritation, and a stinging sensation. Please talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
