What if I have taken an overdose of Cissten Tablet 10's

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Cissten Tablet 10's may include changes in vision, constipation, decreased sexual desire, difficult or painful urination, difficulty thinking, dry mouth, feeling tired, fever or chills, hallucination (seeing things or hearing voices that do not exist), headache, increased thirst, increased urination, irregular heartbeat, loss of appetite, metallic taste in the mouth, muscle or bone pain, nausea, pale, fatty stools, runny nose, stomach pain, upset stomach, vomiting, weakness, weight loss, and yellowing of the skin or eyes. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Drug Warnings

If you are allergic to Cissten Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Cissten Tablet 10's. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Cissten Tablet 10's is not recommended if you have hypercalcemia (high calcium levels), metastatic calcification (extra deposits of calcium in the body), hypervitaminosis D (high vitamin D levels), and malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food). Inform your doctor before taking Cissten Tablet 10's if you have any heart/kidney/liver/blood vessel diseases, kidney stones, sarcoidosis (growth of inflammatory cells in different parts of the body), Crohn's disease (inflammatory bowel disease), Whipple's disease (bacterial infection affecting joints and digestive system), achlorhydria (little or no stomach acid), low levels of bile, and phosphate imbalance. Cissten Tablet 10's may contain sugar or sorbitol; hence caution should be taken in case of intolerance to sugars, diabetes, and phenylketonuria (increased levels of an amino acid called phenylalanine).

  • Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in children's diets.
  • Eat daily a serving of broccoli, cabbage, spinach, and other green leafy vegetables.

  • Snack on calcium-rich nuts like Brazil nuts or almonds.
