Clordone-6.25 Tablet used in the treatment of Hypertension (High blood pressure) and Edema. The detailed uses of Clordone-6.25 Tablet are as follows:

• Hypertension: Clordone-6.25 Tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) by helping the kidneys remove excess fluid and salt from the body, which in turn relaxes blood vessels and improves blood flow.
• Edema: Clordone-6.25 Tablet is used to treat edema (swelling) caused by excess fluid retention in the body, often associated with conditions like heart failure, liver disease, or kidney disease, by increasing urine production and reducing fluid buildup.

Clordone-6.25 Tablet works by increasing the amount of urine that is passed out from the kidneys. It effectively reduces excess fluid levels in the body and treats oedema (swelling) associated with heart, liver, kidney or lung disease. This reduces the workload on the heart and makes the heart more efficient at pumping blood throughout the body. Thus, it helps lower high blood pressure, reducing the chances of heart attack or stroke. In addition, this relieves oedema and helps you carry out your daily activities more efficiently.

• Clordone-6.25 Tablet should be taken after meals or as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Clordone-6.25 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Keep your weight under control with a BMI of 19.5-24.9.
• Do regular physical activity or exercise for at least 150 minutes per week, or about 30 minutes most days of the week. Doing this can help you to lower your raised blood pressure by about 5 mm of Hg.
• Opt for a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, veggies and low-fat dairy products.
• Limit intake of sodium chloride (table salt) in your daily diet to 2300 mg per day or less than 1500 mg is ideal for most adults.
• If you are taking alcohol, then only one serving for women and two serving for men is advisable.
• Quitting smoking is the best strategy to lower the risk of heart disease.

Clordone-6.25 Tablet should not be given to the people allergic to it, have low blood pressure (less than 90 mm of Hg), have had a heart attack, kidney disease, liver disease, pregnant women or planning to get pregnant and breastfeeding women. Besides this, it is contraindicated in low blood pressure (hypotension), cardiogenic shock (sudden stopping of blood flow to the heart) and aortic stenosis (heart valve problem). Clordone-6.25 Tablet can pass into breast milk, but its effect on the baby is not known. So, it is better to tell your doctor if you are taking Clordone-6.25 Tablet and breastfeeding.
