Combizol-T Tablet 10's is a combination of antibacterial and anti-amoebic medication, primarily used to treat dysentery and diarrhoea caused by amoeba. Additionally, it is also used to treat infections caused by microbes. Entamoeba histolytica, Giardia lamblia, or Clostridium difficile can cause amoebic dysentery.

Combizol-T Tablet 10's is a combination medication that contains norfloxacin and metronidazole. Norfloxacin prevents the division of bacterial cells. It also inhibits the repairing of bacterial cells. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that are responsible for causing infections. It works by damaging their DNA. Both are bactericidal (kill the bacteria) in nature. Collectively, they help treat the disease effectively.

Give Combizol-T Tablet 10's to your child in the dose and duration your doctor advises. It is recommended to give it with food at a fixed time to achieve maximum effect. Sometimes, your child may experience nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, loss of appetite, dry mouth and metallic taste. Metronidazole can also cause headaches, dizziness, drowsiness and confusion. Most of these side effects of do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, contact your doctor. If your child experiences any allergic reaction symptoms such as rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc., please consult your doctor immediately.

The full course prescribed by the doctor should be completed. Do not stop giving Combizol-T Tablet 10's abruptly, even if your child feels well after receiving a few doses. Inform your doctor if your child has any lung disease, epilepsy, sleeping disorder, difficulty sleeping, severe liver disease or other prescription recreational drugs. Combizol-T Tablet 10's should not be used by patients with liver diseases, low blood white cells (leukopenia), or gastro intestine diseases like Crohn's disease, Inflammatory bowel disease, etc.

Combizol-T Tablet 10's is used to treat diarrhoea, dysentery, and intestinal infection. The detailed uses of Combizol-T Tablet 10's are as follows:

• Treatment of Bacterial & Parasitic Infections: Combizol-T Tablet 10's is used to manage a broad range of bacterial and parasitic infections, including intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, bacterial vaginosis, and anaerobic bacterial infections.
• Management of Diarrhea & Dysentery: Combizol-T Tablet 10's is effective in treating bacterial diarrhea and dysentery, helping to eliminate harmful microorganisms and restore gut health.
• Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): Combizol-T Tablet 10's is used for treating urinary tract infections, targeting bacterial growth and preventing recurrence.

• Combizol-T Tablet 10's can be given with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions regarding the dosage and duration of the medication.
• Shake well before use. Administer the advised dose to the child using the measuring cup/measuring spoon/dropper.
• Avoid using regular household spoons, as they may not measure the dose correctly.

If your child is allergic to norfloxacin, metronidazole or any other antibacterial or anti-amoebic agents, please inform your doctor to avoid unwanted side effects like swallowing or breathing problems and swelling of your child lips, face, throat or tongue. Giving Combizol-T Tablet 10's may increase the chances of developing tendinitis (swelling of a tissue that joins a bone to a muscle) or a tendon rupture. You should avoid giving dairy products to your child along with Combizol-T Tablet 10's. Also, avoid exposure to sunlight while giving Combizol-T Tablet 10's to your child as it may cause increased phototoxicity or photosensitivity. You should consult your doctor if your child has irregular heartbeats before giving Combizol-T Tablet 10's.
