COSALIC K SOLUTION is primarily used to treat dandruff and control seborrheic dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Dandruff is a flaky, itchy scalp without signs of inflammation.

COSALIC K SOLUTION is composed of ketoconazole and coal tar. Ketoconazole works by stopping the growth of dandruff-causing fungi. Coal tar works by removing dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slowing down the growth of skin cells.

You may experience warmth or a burning sensation, skin irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. The burning sensation may usually last for five minutes after application. Inform your doctor, if the side effects are persistent.

• Treats Dandruff: COSALIC K SOLUTION effectively reduces flaking, itching, and scalp irritation caused by dandruff.
• Manages Seborrheic Dermatitis: COSALIC K SOLUTION kills the fungus Malassezia and helps control symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis, such as flaking, redness, and itching on the scalp.
• Manages Scalp Psoriasis: COSALIC K SOLUTION helps reduce scaling and thickening of the skin associated with psoriasis by removing dead skin cells and slowing down the growth of new skin cells.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure the safety.
• Wet hair with a sufficient quantity of water.
• Apply sufficient amount of COSALIC K SOLUTION on the scalp depending on the length of the hair. Massage to lather and leave it on the scalp and hair for a few minutes. Then, thoroughly rinse with water.
