Delcon Drops is a combination medicine indicated as a nasal decongestant and anti-allergic in paediatric patients. It provides relief from symptoms of a cold, such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, itching of nose and throat, itchy/watery eyes, nasal congestion, and nasal passage swelling.

Delcon Drops contains Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine relieves allergy/cold symptoms. Phenylephrine provides relief from congestion. Together, Delcon Drops provides relief from colds and allergies.

In some cases, Delcon Drops may cause side effects such as drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, consult the doctor.

Let the doctor know if your child is allergic to any of the components in Delcon Drops. Keep the doctor informed about your child’s health condition and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.

Phenylephrine provides relief from congestion and stuffy nose by narrowing the blood vessels in the nose. Together, Delcon Drops provides relief from cold.

Do not use Delcon Drops if your child is allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if your child has heart, kidney or liver problems. Let the doctor know if your child is on any other medicines, including supplements or herbal products.
