Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's

Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's is used to treat mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure). It is also indicated in the management of chronic stable angina and angina due to coronary artery spasms. High blood pressure is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels, leading to hypertension. 

Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's contains Diltiazem, which works by relaxing the blood vessels in the heart and thereby reducing the raised blood pressure.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as swelling in the hands, feet, and ankles, headache, dizziness, palpitations, constipation, and indigestion. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Avoid taking Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's if you are allergic to it. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding; talk to your doctor; he/she may prescribe you an alternate medicine. Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's is not recommended for children as efficacy and safety have not been established. Keep your doctor informed about your medical history and medications to rule out any side effects/interactions.

Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's is used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension), heart-related chest pain (angina), and the Prevention of heart attack. The detailed uses of Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's are as follows:

• Hypertension Management: Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's treats high blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels, improving blood flow, and lowering blood pressure. This reduces the risk of heart disease and stroke.
• Angina treatment: Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's helps to relieve angina (chest pain) by increasing blood flow to the heart, reducing the frequency and severity of episodes, and enabling patients to perform daily activities with less discomfort.
• Prevention of heart attacks: Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's prevents heart attacks by widening blood vessels, improving blood flow to the heart, and lowering blood pressure.

• Take Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• It is advised to take Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's once daily; however, follow your doctor’s recommendation regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break it.

• Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's belongs to the group of anti-hypertensive medicines called calcium channel blockers, used to treat mild to moderate hypertension (high blood pressure).
• It is also indicated in the management of chronic stable angina and angina due to coronary artery spasms.
• Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's works by inhibiting the movement of calcium ions across the heart muscle and smooth muscle linings of the blood vessels,
• It helps relax and widen the narrowed blood vessels, making it easier for the blood and oxygen to reach the heart. This, in turn, helps lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke. 
• Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's eases anginal chest pain by preventing the narrowing of blood vessels and dilating the coronary arteries.

• Do not take Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's if you are allergic to any of its contents.
• Also, avoid taking Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's if you have/had low blood pressure, heart failure, or a low pulse rate, or if you are taking dantrolene (muscle relaxant), ivabradine (used to treat heart failure), or if you are currently in shock (reduced blood flow to organs).
• Inform your doctor if you have/had diabetes, liver or kidney problems, porphyria (a rare disease of the blood pigment), myasthenia gravis (muscle problems), heart problems, or constipation.
• Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's may cause mood changes and depression in some people. Consult your doctor immediately if you think you are affected.
• Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's is not recommended for use in pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children.
• Women of childbearing potential must use effective contraception while on treatment with Delta-90 SR Tablet 10's.
• Try not to stop taking it on your own as it may cause a sudden increase the blood pressure, chest pain or heart attack.
