Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 belongs to a group of medicines called Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAID) indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute postoperative pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body.
 
Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 contains 'ketorolac tromethamine', which works by inhibiting the synthesis of certain chemical messengers in the body, such as prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain and inflammation. Thereby, Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 helps provide relief from pain.
 
In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, constipation, gas, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
 
Avoid taking Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 should not be given to children below 16 years as safety and efficacy have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol with Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 as it could lead to increased dizziness; it might also increase the risk of stomach bleeding. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects/interactions.

Do not take Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have/had asthma, severe heart problems, stomach ulcer or perforation, bleeding problems such as bleeding from the stomach, intestine or brain, bypass surgery, heart attack, blood circulation problems, or inflammation of intestines. Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 can increase your risk of a fatal heart attack or stroke. So, if you have had any recent heart surgery, do not take Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1. Inform your doctor if you have or had high blood pressure, heart problems, high cholesterol, diabetes, asthma, liver and kidney problems. Avoid taking Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 is not recommended for children below 16 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Stop taking Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 and consult your doctor immediately if you have stomach pain or any signs of bleeding in the intestine or stomach, such as blood in stools. Do not take any other NSAIDs for pain relief along with Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 unless prescribed. 

Drug-Drug Interactions: Dolket Rapid 10 mg DT Tablet 1 may have interaction with a blood thinner (warfarin, heparin), antipsychotic agent (lithium), pain killers (aspirin), uricosuric (probenecid), antiprogestational steroids (mifepristone).

Drug-Disease Interactions: Inform your doctor if you have stomach ulcer or perforation, bleeding problems, heart problems, blood circulation problems, asthma, fluid retention, thrombosis, porphyria, anaemia, high blood pressure, kidney or liver problems.

• Avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes; instead, wear loose garments.

• To avoid developing pressure sores, change your position every two hours.

• Hot or cold therapy can help treat muscle spasms. Apply an ice-pack or hot-pack on the muscle for 15-20minutes.

• Stay hydrated, drink plenty of water.
